Visit sign in and out threshold

In this article, we explain how to amend the booking-in and out threshold for a visit.

Within the tenant preferences, you have the flexibility to configure the booking thresholds for visit check-ins and check-outs. This setting determines how early or late a carer can log in or out of a scheduled visit.

For example, if a visit is scheduled for 7:30 AM, you can allow carers to check in up to 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time. This would be the same for checking out of a visit β€” if the visit ends at 8:30 AM you can set a 30 minute threshold.

⚠️ Important: All four time window fields must have a numeric value entered. If any field is left blank, carers on mobile may be unable to start or end future visits. Do not save the preferences page with any of these four fields empty. If you are unsure what value to use, enter 0 to set no restriction, or restore a previous value. After saving any change to these preferences, ask carers to perform a manual sync on their devices to ensure the updated settings take effect.

To configure visit time thresholds, follow these simple steps:

  1. Click the three-line menu.

  2. Click Configuration, then click Tenant.

  3. Click Preferences.

  4. Under App preferences, locate the four time window settings.

  5. Enter a numeric value in minutes for each field. Do not leave any field blank.

  6. Click Update.

  7. Ask carers to sync their devices after saving.
