GP Connect for Mobile

Before You Begin

Please ensure the following items are in place before starting:

  1. You need an internet connection to use GP Connect - the app will show an offline message if you're not connected.

How to Access GP Connect on Mobile

  1. Open the Case Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to any patient's case in the Access Care Planning app.

  3. Tap GP Connect.

  4. On the case dashboard, look for the "GP Connect" option and tap it.

  5. This will open the GP Connect screen showing the patient's NHS medical records.

  6. Choose a Medical Section.

  7. At the top of the screen, you'll see horizontal scrolling buttons for different medical categories.

  8. Tap any section button to view that type of medical information.

Additional Features

  1. Date Filtering: For most sections you can filter by date range to see records from specific time periods.

  2. Refresh: Pull down to refresh the data and get the latest information.

  3. Offline Notice: The app will notify you if you're offline and cannot access GP Connect data.

  4. The information displayed comes directly from the patient's GP practice through the NHS GP Connect service, ensuring you're seeing official NHS medical records.

Notes

  1. You need an internet connection to use GP Connect - the app will show an offline message if you're not connected.

  2. Some users may have restricted access and can only view certain sections.
