What is the Smart Notes Free Trial?
We're offering eligible Access Care Planning customers a free 28-day trial of our Smart Notes AI documentation feature.
Trial Period: 11th February 2026 to 11th March 2026
Who is eligible for this trial?
This trial is available to Access Care Planning customers who don't currently have Smart Notes as part of their subscription.
If you already have Smart Notes enabled: This trial doesn't apply to you - you can continue using Smart Notes as normal.
If Smart Notes isn't currently available in your Access Care Planning system, You're eligible for this free 28-day trial.
How do I start using Smart Notes during the trial?
Step 1: From 11th February, you'll see a new "Smart Notes" option in your Form Builder
Step 2: Enable Smart Notes on the forms where you want to try it
Step 3: Update your user Roles to control who can use Smart Notes (recommended for better control during trial)
Step 4: Follow our setup guide to get the best results
What can I do with Smart Notes during the trial?
Use Smart Notes on any of your forms
Record unlimited care notes using AI voice-to-text
Try it with multiple users (you control who has access)
Test it on your most important forms like care plans
Will I be charged during the trial?
No charges apply during the 28-day trial period.
You will not be automatically charged when the trial ends.
What happens at the end of the trial?
Around day 21 of your trial: We'll contact active users to discuss continuing with Smart Notes
On 11th March: Your trial ends
Your options:
Purchase Smart Notes to continue using it (your Account Manager will discuss pricing)
Stop using Smart Notes (it will be automatically disabled)
Do I need to cancel anything?
No cancellation needed. The trial automatically ends on 11th March 2026.
If you don't purchase Smart Notes, it will be disabled automatically with no charges.
Will my data be deleted?
No. Any Smart Notes recordings you create during the trial will be preserved and accessible within the History tab of the Case Record area, even if you don't continue with the service.

What if I have technical issues during the trial?

Enable it gradually across different teams
