We are introducing Access Care Planning Server version 8.2.10.5, a maintenance release that addresses defects in forms, visits, document handling and permissions, along with security updates.

We have resolved defects regarding duplicate form submissions and forms being saved as drafts unexpectedly.

We have resolved a defect regarding the activity history recorded when a visit is amended.

We have resolved defects regarding document downloads from the user interface and the Offboarding Tool, and the performance of bulk PDF exports.

We have resolved defects regarding image transfer performance and database load.

We have resolved a defect regarding permission error messages when staff without the required access attempt to complete care plan activities.

Server v8.2.10.5 will be rolled out to customer environments on 28th October 2026 at 23:00 (BST).

Maintenance window: 11:00 PM - 11:30 PM BST

Expected downtime: up to 5 minutes during the maintenance window

Documents within Forms -- The ability to attach and manage documents directly within form submissions, providing a more complete record within a single workflow.

Activity-Level Day-Based Frequency -- Configure activity frequencies at the individual day level for more precise scheduling and care planning.

Smart Notes for Visit Notes -- Extend Smart Notes voice transcription capability to visit notes, enabling care workers to record visit notes hands-free using voice input.

- Documents within Forms -- The ability to attach and manage documents directly within form submissions, providing a more complete record within a single workflow.
