Server 8.2.0 release notes

New ODS code feature, duplicate form improvements and more.

We are excited to announce the release of ACP Server version 8.2.0. This update brings a host of new features, improvements, and bug fixes aimed at enhancing the overall user experience and system performance. Key highlights this release include, the ability for Tenant Administrators to enter ODS codes using the ODS code lookup option. Additionally, enhancements have been made to prevent Form submission duplicates, and various query optimisations have been implemented to enhance overall system performance. Issues around Live View have also been fixed, ensuring a smoother and more reliable operation.

New features

  • ODS Codes – Tenant Administrators can now enter ODS codes against their Tenant/ Branch using the ODS code lookup option.

    • What are 'ODS Codes?' - The ODS codes provide a unique identifier for each healthcare organisation in England ensuring accurate identification and differentiation between care providers.

    • This work is part of the PRSB (Professional Record Standards Body) changes we are planning to release with Access Care Planning v8.3.0.

Improvements

  • Prevent Form Submission Duplicates – Enhancements have been made to prevent Form submission duplicates, improving data accuracy and consistency.

  • Query Optimisation – Various query optimizations have been implemented to improve overall system performance and reduce load times.


Bug fixes

  • We have fixed several issues relating to Forms.

  • We have addressed an issue around Case Reports.

  • We have fixed a defect regarding Form Reports.

  • We have fixed various Encoding issues.

  • We have corrected issues regarding Activities.

  • We have addressed defects relating to Live View.

  • We have fixed an issue around Forms widget on Dashboard.

  • We have corrected a defect relating to Form Import.

  • We have resolved a defect regarding Form overview table.

  • We have corrected issues regarding Case Fields.


How this version will be made available

We'll begin rolling 8.2.0 out to customer environments on 25 February 2025 and continue over the following two weeks.
