Unable to see the Access Digital Assistant

In this article, we explain how to resolve the issue if you are unable to see the Access Digital Assistant since the 8.2.5.1 release.

Following the 8.2.5.1 release of Access Care Planning on 30th September 2025, users who choose to reject all cookies during login no longer have the option be able to access the Access Digital Assistant.

This change affects key features such as live chat support and the ability to ask quick how-to questions through the Access Digital Assistant to help you get answers faster and more efficiently.

To restore access to the Digital Assistant, youโ€™ll need to update your cookie preferences. This can be done in one of two ways.

Access Evo settings

You can amend your Access Evo settings. To do this, follow these simple steps.

  1. Log in to Access Evo.

  2. Click your name in the top right.

  3. Click My Settings, then click the cookie icon.

  4. Enable the cookies, then click Save.


Clear browsing data

You can also clear your browser cache to do this. Follow these steps.

โš ๏ธImportant: If you clear your browsing data, you will be prompted to reselect your cookie preferences when logging into Access Care Planning. To ensure the Access Digital Assistant is visible, click Accept All.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three-dot menu, then click Settings.

  2. Click Privacy and security, then click Delete browsing data.

  3. From the Time Range drop-down menu, select All time.

  4. Select the Cached images and files check box.

  5. Click Delete Data.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three-dot menu then click Settings.

  2. Click Privacy, search and services.

  3. Click Clear Browsing Data, then click Choose what to clear.

  4. Select the Cookies and saved website data and Cached images and files check boxes.

  5. Click Clear now.
