We are introducing ACP Server version 8.2.8.1. This release updates how GP Connect access is managed within Access Care Planning to give organisations greater control over who can view GP Connect data, and resolves a system stability issue affecting Form History on records with Body Map entries.

Improvements

GP Connect Access Controls — We have updated how GP Connect is managed within Access Care Planning to give organisations greater control over who can access GP Connect data.

What this means for you:

  • GP Connect will be automatically switched off for services used to manage employee records, where those services are named using the words "employee" or "staff".

Note: If your organisation uses different wording to name employee services — for example "Personnel" or "HR" — these will not be updated automatically. Please contact our support team and we will get this sorted for you as a priority.

  • All users, including Tenant Administrators, will only be able to access GP Connect if they have been explicitly granted permission through their role settings. This ensures access to GP Connect data is deliberate and can be reviewed by your organisation at any time.

Upcoming improvement: We are working on an update that will allow your System Administrator to manage GP Connect access per service directly within the Access Care Planning platform.

Bug Fixes

  • We have resolved a defect regarding system stability when viewing Form History on records containing Body Map entries.
