Major new features: Evo Multi-Subscription Support and GP Connect Integration

Overview

We are excited to introduce ACP Server version 8.2.5; a significant release focused on delivering two major new features: Evo Multi-Subscription Support and GP Connect Integration. This release enables seamless multi-tenant access management through the Evo platform and provides NHS-compliant integration for accessing patient data from GP practices, alongside important stability improvements and user experience enhancements.

New Features

  • Evo Multi Subscription – Users can now link multiple ACP instances to a single Evo Platform account and switch between them seamlessly.

  • GP Connect Integration – Care providers can now view and access patient medical records from their registered GP practice directly within Access Care Planning, providing a complete picture of patient care history and current medical information.

    • Please note, as of 15th September 2025, GP Connect functionality is subject to NHS activation requirements. We're currently awaiting final confirmation from NHS regarding the activation process. Full guidance will be provided once confirmed.


Improvements

  • GP Practice Identifier field – Added ‘GP Practice Identifier’ field to the ‘Customer’ page to support GP Connect integration and improve patient data management.

  • Access Account Linking Update - The Add Link button in the Account Management section has been removed. Existing links remain visible for reference. Going forward, Migration Mode should be used as the only supported method for linking Access Evo accounts with Access Care Planning.


Bug Fixes

  • We have resolved a defect regarding User roles.


How this version will be made available

Server v8.2.5 will begin rolling out to customer environments on 22nd September 2025 at 23:00 (BST).
