This page showcases Navigator apps the team is exploring for future development. The apps shown here are previews using sample data - they are not yet connected to live ACP data.
Share your feedback
Your feedback helps us decide which apps to build next and how they should work. You can send feedback on any app on this page, straight from inside the app.
How to share feedback:
Go to the Navigator test environment and sign in. The organisation name is Access Care Fast Feedback. Use the feedback account your Customer Success Manager shares with you.
Open the app you want to review.
Select the thumbs icon at the top right of the screen.
Choose a star rating, from Terrible to Great.
Optionally, add a comment of up to 500 characters to explain your rating.
Select Submit feedback.
Please note: The test environment uses sample data only. Please do not enter real client information while you test.
Visit Insight
A single view for reviewing completed care visits - bringing together AI-generated summaries, suggested actions for manager review, and relevant client care information without switching between screens.
What it does: Opens with a list of the 30 most recent completed visits across a service. Selecting any visit opens a full review page including:
An AI-generated summary of what happened during the visit
AI suggested actions for office review
A CQC Watch section highlighting possible concerns from the visit
A breakdown of activities and forms submitted during the visit
A Customer Care Overview showing relevant care plan information, visit alerts, medication status, and recent visit history
Who it's for: Registered Managers and Team Leads who need to monitor visit quality, spot patterns across a service, and identify where care plans may need reviewing.
Value: Visit Insight brings everything a manager needs to review a visit into one place - no more opening individual records across multiple screens to piece together what happened during a visit.
Please note: AI-generated summaries and suggested actions are for office review only. They are not sent to carers and do not automatically update care plans or routines. All suggestions require manager judgement before any action is taken.
AI-Assisted Care Plan Draft
Turns an existing Support Plan into ready-to-review secondary forms and care plan updates - so your team isn't retyping the same information across multiple forms.
What it does: Opens from your case list. Pick a service user and the Support Plan you want to use as your source, and the app:
Suggests which secondary forms are worth pre-filling from that Support Plan, based on what's actually in it
Drafts values into those forms for you to review, edit, and save - nothing is written to Access Care Planning until you confirm each form
Pulls out the care activities and medications mentioned in the Support Plan, checks them against your existing libraries, and lets you add them straight to the service user's care plan
Finishes with a summary of everything that was saved, so you can see exactly what changed
Who it's for: Coordinators, Branch Admins, and Carers who regularly turn a completed assessment into other forms and care plan updates, and want to skip the manual re-entry.
Value: Cuts out the repetitive work of copying the same information from one form to another by hand - while keeping you in full control of what actually gets saved.
Please note: Every value the AI drafts is shown to you for review before anything is saved - you can edit or clear anything you don't agree with. Signatures are never suggested by the AI and always start blank; photos carry forward from previous submissions unchanged. Medication dosage and route are suggested from the Support Plan but must be reviewed and confirmed before you can add a medication to a care plan.
Care Plan Audit
An audit that checks whether a client's care plan, risk assessment, planned activities, visit notes, and medication records agree with each other - recommending an action for every difference it finds, and keeping findings so you can see patterns over time.
What it does: For each client in scope, the audit brings together their care plan, the forms in their care plan sections (including the risk assessment), planned and delivered activities, visits with notes, and eMAR records. It then compares them and shows:
Differences between what is recorded as needed and what was delivered - such as care that has stopped, increased, or newly appeared in visit notes but isn't in the care plan or risk assessment
Medication checks, such as whether the eMAR codes match the level of support in the care plan, and whether the medication details are complete. These use fixed rules, not AI
The evidence behind every finding, so you can see exactly where it came from and trust it or challenge it
A severity and a recommended action for each finding, so you know what to do next
Clear statuses where an audit can't give an answer - Unable to assess where information is missing, and Not yet audited for clients who haven't been checked
You can search and filter the latest findings across your clients, open any client to see their action plan, and view trends and recurring patterns over time. You can also start an audit for a client whenever you want a fresh check, and mark each finding as Open, Acknowledged, Actioned, or Dismissed (with a reason).
Who it's for: Quality leads, Registered Managers, and compliance teams who need to check that care plans and records agree - without manually cross-referencing care plans, risk assessments, visit notes, and medication records for each client.
Value: Replaces sampling and manual cross-checking with a consistent check of every client in scope, and shows repeat problems for the same client - so your team can spend less time finding issues and more time resolving them.
Please note: The audit is an aid to professional judgement - not a clinical decision. It only reads from Access Care Planning. It does not update care plans, create tasks, or send notifications, and every finding needs review and action by the appropriate person. The rules it checks against, such as permitted medication codes, are set up for your organisation.
More apps will be added to this page as they become available.
