Overview

We are pleased to announce the release of Android v7.9.0. This update delivers new Smart Notes capabilities including transcript upload and improved table population, a GP Connect improvement, and resolves a number of important issues affecting visits, activities, forms, and app stability.

New Features

Smart Notes Transcript Upload

Tenant Administrators can now upload a pre-written transcript (.txt file) directly from their device to populate Smart Notes form fields, using the same AI logic as a live voice recording.

How it works:

  • Tap the "Upload Transcript" button on a Smart Notes form

  • Select a .txt file from your device storage

  • The transcript is processed and form fields are populated automatically using AI logic

What this means for you:

  • Test and evaluate Smart Notes AI capabilities without needing to record live audio

  • Reuse existing transcripts for consistent and repeatable testing

  • Save time when demonstrating Smart Notes to your team

Smart Notes β€” Populate Multiple Table Rows

Smart Notes can now populate multiple rows within a table field simultaneously from a single voice recording or transcript, rather than being limited to a single row at a time.

How it works:

  • Record or upload a transcript that contains information for multiple table entries

  • Smart Notes automatically identifies and maps the data across multiple rows in the table field

What this means for you:

  • Populate entire data tables in a single voice note, eliminating repetitive manual entry

  • Document bulk records faster at the point of care

Bug Fixes

  • We have resolved a defect where the Activities screen was displaying different data following a Clean Sync

  • We have resolved a defect where the app was crashing when opening a visit after the debug screen was updated

  • We have resolved a defect where save photo options were not visible on certain Android devices

  • We have resolved a defect where medication activity details were intermittently not displaying on the app

  • We have resolved a defect where forms submitted via a visit type were intermittently failing to reach the server.

  • We have resolved a live defect where Next of Kin users were unable to see the GP Connect tab on their Android device
