When working in the Access Care Planning app, you may occasionally need others to read a form without being able to change it. To support this, the app includes a Lock Form feature that lets you place a form in read‑only mode while you are still editing it.
This feature is especially useful when service users or employees need to view the information you’ve entered and sign the form, but should not be able to edit or delete anything. Locking the form ensures they can scroll through the content safely without accidentally making changes.
Follow these steps to lock a form while editing.
Open the form you are currently working on.
Tap the three dots located in the top-right corner.
Select Lock Form from the menu.
Once locked, the form becomes read-only for anyone viewing it. You can unlock it again at any time to continue editing.
